Moving Stress - How to Cope
Even with the help of All My Sons professional movers, moving can be a big challenge. Juggling work and other responsiblities with the logistics of moving your possesions and your family can be simply overwhelming. Here's a few tips to help you keep your sanity during this sometimes difficult moving process:
Plan Ahead
Moving your family should not be a last minute enterprise. You should schedule your All My Sons move as quickly as possible. Jot down a list of items, such as boxes, packing tape, and other supplies that you will need to accomplish your move, and begin packing as soon as possible. Don't leave tasks critical to your move to the last second.
Get Help
Moving is not a one person job. Even though you have professional movers for moving day, enlist family and friends to help get things packed and business affairs tidied away. Moving doesn't need to be a lonely job.
Get Rid of the Clutter
It happens - our homes fill up with junk. With a little honest appraisal, much of the stuff we worry about moving can easily be sold, given, or thrown away. Relocation is an excellent time to clear out the clutter in your household, saving you some unnecessary stress.
Take Care of Yourself
Don't overdo it. All My Sons will be there to help. Make sure you get proper amounts of food and sleep. Don't overpack boxes - they may prove dangerous to lift later. Drink plenty of water while engaged in heavy packing or lifting.
